Dr. Nunn's professionalism and empathy during the very dark moments of saying good-bye to my cherished & much-loved cat provided comfort in a situation where there otherwise is no comfort. Her gentle & respectful treatment of my boy gave him a peaceful, loving exit nestled in my arms. She also sat with me for several minutes after he slipped away. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Beth Nunn, whose presence provided strength when I desperately needed it.

Pet euthanasia and cremation pricing in Duluth, GA

Your credit card is required to reserve your appointment. However, no payment is required until the appointment and nothing is due until the appointment is completed

We charge cancellation fee of $100 if an appointment is cancelled less than 4 hours before the start time. If your pet passes away before your appointment you would not be charged a cancellation fee. If the vet you scheduled is able, and you would like their assistance with cremation, then pickup fee would apply instead of euthanasia fee

Other Consideration

If you have a larger pet, your vet may need the help of one friend or family member. Talk to your vet about options and limitations when they reach out to you prior to your appointment, and they will inform you of any extra cost for your situation.

Options for your pets return home and memorabilia depend on your local provider. Your vet coordinate the return of your pet’s ashes and let you know if there are additional fees for urn delivery.

Extra time or medications needed can affect the total price. Other factors can be if it is decided that it’s not time to euthanize your pet after the vet has arrive. In that case, only the travel fee, platform fee, and a quality of life consult would apply.

FAQs

The total cost includes the in-home pet euthanasia service fee, any travel fee (if any apply), and a platform fee. Additionally, depending on your choice, fees may apply for cremation services or keepsakes.

During your appointment, your vet will confirm your aftercare selection with you. If you choose to arrange cremation services, your vet will oversee your pet’s transportation to a local facility for cremation. If your preferred cremation option includes the return of your pet’s ashes to you, your vet will discuss the process to reunite you with your pet's ashes and the anticipated time frame during your appointment

Yes, upon arrival the veterinarian will assess your pet. This can look different than an “nose to tail” examination in a clinic setting and will focus more on the pet’s history and quality of life.

It is not uncommon to have doubts about whether the time is right. If you’ve taken the Quality of Life Questionnaire and are still unsure, we recommend consulting with your family veterinarian before scheduling an appointment.

Rest assured, if you book an appointment, your in-home euthanasia veterinarian will let you know if they do not believe that euthanasia is appropriate at this time.

You can expect your veterinarian to be in your home from 20-60 minutes, depending on how much of that time you need or want throughout the process.

My family and I are incredibly grateful for Dr. John Crawford. I can’t imagine any other way we could have let our sweet girl of 18 years go. John was beyond empathetic and created an atmosphere of comfort for us and our Dog as she prepared to pass. Please don’t look any further for a euthanasia service, your loved one deserves someone like John to gift them their most comfortable last moments. Thanks again John, your service is invaluable 🙏🏼

Dr. Danielle Chapman was absolutely wonderful! As painful as it was for family members to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Dr. Chapman showed up during a same-day appt request with so much compassion and understanding for what we were going thru. She explained the full process while sincerely tending to our fur baby. Dr. Chapman gave us the privacy needed for us to grieve and bid our farewells, and the crematory service she works with - Fond Memories, was equally as caring and wonderful. During this difficult time, my family and I cannot express enough the sincere gratitude we have for CodaPet. It was the perfect service for providing our fur baby with the peace she deserved while crossing over the rainbow bridge. Thank you so much, Dr. Chapman, we are so appreciative you were there to support our fur baby and family. It’s truly the last humane act we can show for our loving animals that have been a part of our family for a long time. R.I.P. 🐶🙏❤️

This group of veterinary specialists is outstanding. I have used their services for in home pet euthanasia 3 times. They have brought comfort to me and made the journey for all of my dogs stress free. The final trip to the vet would have been very stressful for my dogs; I know because I have gone that route previously. But, in the familiar and peaceful environment of their home, my pets passed over the rainbow bridge in relative comfort. Thank you team CodaPet. You are awesome.

Dr. Perzak was great. She was very kind and compassionate, took her time with us and explained what to expect. I’m very grateful that we were able to let our baby be at home and have a peaceful passing. I can’t thank Dr. Perzak enough for what she does. The whole process was very easy from booking the appointment and adding the cremation and memorial items option. It made a very hard day just a little less stressful

I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion shown by Dr. Gary Hsia during one of the most difficult moments. From the very beginning, communication was excellent—he responded quickly when I needed to move up my appointment and made the process smooth and stress-free. Dr. Hsia was incredibly professional, offering clear and gentle explanations throughout the euthanasia process in a way that my grieving mind could truly understand and process. But more than anything, I would give 10 out of 5 stars for his genuine care—not just for my beloved cat, but for me as well. His presence was calm, kind, and comforting, and I felt fully supported every step of the way. The online scheduling system was also incredibly easy to use, which made everything more manageable during such an emotional time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I couldn't have asked for a better experience under such heartbreaking circumstances.
