Dr. Gersten was great for this sad procedure of having to put down one of our cats. She was patient, compassionate, competent, and made the process as painless as possible.
After a shocking cancer diagnosis and a rapid decline in health we were devastated to have to say goodbye to our sweet Koda. Our appt was for the following morning but Dr Gersten was so kind when I called her and came the afternoon before (even though there were no openings). She explained each step in a delicate & compassionate way and gave our whole family ample time to be with him while she stepped away here and there. We can’t thank her enough for everything and we were comforted to know he would be in good hands afterwards.
